Dr Daniel Christiadi is a Staff Specialist in Renal Medicine at The Canberra Hospital, with specialist training across Canberra, Royal Darwin, and Imperial College (UK) Hospitals. His clinical interests include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, and kidney transplantation — areas he developed through fellowships at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney and Imperial College in London.
Daniel maintains an active interest in advancing nephrology practice, having contributed research at the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN), with work published across peer-reviewed medical journals. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Australian National University, where his research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to improve the diagnosis and prediction of kidney disease.

Dr Faisal Khan is a dual-trained Consultant Physician and Geriatrician, holding Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine and General &
Acute Medicine, and currently practising as a Staff Specialist Geriatrician at Canberra Health Services. He completed basic physician training across Tasmania and Queensland, followed
by specialist training in Geriatric and General Medicine at The Canberra Hospital.
He also holds a Master of Public Health and Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology, and has additional experience in palliative care, supporting holistic, patient-centred management
focused on maintaining independence, function and quality of life in older adults.
Dr Khan has a special interest in geriatric preoperative and perioperative medicine, supported by a Master of Perioperative Medicine (Monash University), with expertise in optimisation of
older adults undergoing surgery, frailty assessment, perioperative risk stratification and postoperative recovery planning.

Dr Sivasubaiah (Siva) Subramanian is a caring and highly experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physician passionate about helping people breathe easier, sleep better, and feel confident in their health. He brings extensive clinical experience from India, China, and Singapore, and completed his physician training in Canberra followed by advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. He is currently a Consultant Staff Specialist at Canberra Hospital and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr Subramanian has a special interest in interventional pulmonology, performing advanced procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, cryobiopsy, and medical thoracoscopy.
His broader clinical interests include complex airway disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and advanced sleep disorders. He is actively involved with TSANZ, ATS, ERS, BTS, the Australasian Sleep Association, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and regularly attends international conferences to stay at the forefront of best practice.
Dr Subramanian speaks fluent Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam in addition to English, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients. Patients value his approachable, thorough, and compassionate manner, and his commitment to clear communication, shared decision-making, and close collaboration with GPs and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care. Dr Shahid Mahmood is a dedicated medical oncologist committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred cancer care, with a strong focus on clinical trials and advancing access to emerging therapies. He believes in integrating the latest research findings into everyday clinical practice to provide patients with the most up-to-date treatment options available.
Dr Mahmood completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Pakistan in 2006 before undertaking specialist training in medical oncology in Canberra, Australia. He further expanded his expertise through a one-year medical oncology fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2023.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Mahmood is actively involved in research, medical education and academic collaboration. He has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented his research internationally, including at the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology Annual Meeting 2022. He maintains professional affiliations with Australian Gastro-intestinal Trials Group, American Society of Clinical Oncology and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia. His previous academic roles include Conjoint Associate Lecturer at University of New South Wales and medical student examiner at Australian National University.
Dr Mahmood provides care across a wide spectrum of solid tumour cancers, with particular interests in breast, genitourinary (Prostate, testicular, bladder, kidney), lung and melanoma. Fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi, he values clear communication and strives to support patients and families in the language they feel most comfortable using.

James completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Swinburne University and has developed broad experience across both respiratory and sleep services in Australia.
He began his career in Mackay, Queensland, where he worked as a Respiratory Scientist conducting lung function assessments for coal mine workers. In this role, he was closely involved in the detection and monitoring of occupational lung diseases, including coal workers’ pneumoconiosis (black lung disease), and other respiratory conditions prevalent in high-risk labour environments.
James later returned to Melbourne where he worked as both a Sleep and Respiratory Scientist, in addition to providing CPAP consultation and patient education. This combination of clinical testing expertise and hands-on patient support has given him a strong foundation in delivering high-quality, patient-centred respiratory and sleep care.
